Getting harder

Guess yesterday took out some energy being worried about ones relatives in Chile etc. Still felt sore from last time. Went to K2 again.. now close to no one was there. Already felt during the warm up that my arms and muscles would be fighting today. Total ended up with 2 black problems and some ok tries on some more.. might need a longer rest too be able to come back fresh to some problems. Then again I have been fighting against a on setting cold/flue since thursday so could have something to do with that. Keeping on trucking...

I want more

out of myself! Ok did not feel the right motivation or will today, felt tiered in mind and body. Maybe the change of training is getting to me? Did only 1 black today and tried some new problems of which all felt hard. The only thing that felt good was that I came to a highpoint on one of the ones I think are white not black (that is for me at least). We will see where this will lead ...

A bit better

Went to K2 this time. Fun place..just trying some problems, felt rather weak and powerless,maybe the short warm up? Anyway: did 4 black problems and worked on 2 more black problems that are really white. Interesting that on another black that I nearly did 2nd go last time (didn't dare do the last move) I had no chance on today--strange. Fun session with more Power orientation.

New problems

Off to KV for some new Problems. Mr.T, B, and good to see you again E! Usual warm up before going off on the black problems. Again difficult to control the urge to try them all.. End up doing to black problems and trying several others.. most ?? got the black under the Tunnel..hard. After that a little session of dead hangs and rings upstairs. Fun session... closing in on the power part.. :-D

Changes & K2

Have done some more research on the topic and it turns out that the "shocking" of the system is recommended when doing at least 6 weeks of Hypertrophy. However I don´t really have that time..so a change again and instead going over to doing power.. ie. little more campus, doing black problems etc.
So where did I go.. went to the new K2 as Mr.T was going to be there although only for a short time. Turned out much bigger then I thought and overall nice to look at. After a way to short / quick warm up (excited about the problems and catching up with Mr.T who had been there 1 hour)..one quickly noticed a few things: the mats are way to stiff and falling from the top of a problem can be a shock to the system! It doesn´t help that the hight of the boulders is in general higher then at the other gyms. So when going there make sure you have a spotter and one of the smaller, softer pads underneath you!The structure is still very rough which is bad on the rubber but good when trying to solve some foot heavy problems. The holds are also rough on the hands but not too bad.
So how did it go? Well, so-so, like mentioned before the warm up sub optimal, managed to flash 1 black as well as doing another 2nd go. Close to a 3rd 2nd go but chickend out as it was the last move and i didn´t want to fall on the hard pads. Close on 2 more blacks .. further away on others, but as usual at a new place it´s hard to concentrate on what one should be doing to trying everything there is that looks good... More discipline next time as Easter is getting closer :-D

Shock the system!

Ok. According to T. Bompa it is benifficial to break up the Hypertophy period with a "Shock to the system and have a real training session.. Went o KC with B and got to work on some black problems. Ended up doing 2 and worked on several others that felt possible (some maybe in a while) .. Due to be being Dead in my body from Fridays session and doing a 1 hr KB session yesterday, I will repeat that thought and have a another "Shock" session on Wednesday before returning to more Hypertrophy. :-D

Challening

went over to K today, long time since one had been there. Lot o people there but the problems looked and felt ok. Another thing according to Dave..climbing in front of a crowd as well as people one knows but maybe doesn't relate too well to. All these were the case today.
Felt sore in the skin and not too motivated due to work stress and lack of good sleep. One problem with the gym is that warming up is a bit of a challenge. Fun problems on the red side...12(red) problems done today..going for a lot of open hand climbing. Difficult to pull through though and felt like I was forgetting my feet a bit as well. Feels like open hand makes the fingertips more sore?
Also like Dave and others have noted..this type of training is rather challenging as temptation to try harder problems is rather big (tested one today..) ..over and out.

UFFFfffff

Quick session once again at KV in the end. Put down the rest time to 1.40 min...resulting in 6 (blue);9 (red); 1 (black); 4x blue/white in the Tunnel and then finish off with 5 (red) again. Built up a nice sweat during that time.. Then some action on the Rings. .. Time to shower... :-D

More Volume

Went to KV again and met up with some familiar faces..Can't say anything new on the red problems front though. Ended up repeating 4 (red) problems and 1 (black) and then going over to the Tunnel and new problems there..did the easiest problem 7x. Paying attention to movement, pacing and swinging. Good pump for the day. :-D
